When using CheqPix, we may process:

• Scanned Images & Documents: Photos of paper receipts, invoices, warranty documents, and meters submitted for optical extraction.
• Extracted Accounting Data: Merchant/vendor names, transaction dates, subtotals, line items, calculated sales taxes (GST/PST/HST/VAT), and payment methods.
• Google Account Tokens: Temporary OAuth 2.0 access tokens used strictly to upload your files into your designated CheqPix Google Drive folder.

2. Google API Services & OAuth 2.0 Disclosure

CheqPix requests access to the following Google OAuth scope:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file

What this means: CheqPix only has permission to create, access, view, and organize files and folders that CheqPix itself created (specifically the CheqPix folder and its subfolders). CheqPix cannot read, browse, modify, or delete any of your other personal or corporate files on Google Drive.

CheqPix's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. Artificial Intelligence & Text Extraction

To accurately recognize crumpled receipts, faded thermal ink, and multi-tax calculations, images are processed in real-time using advanced multimodal vision models (Google Gemini API). This data is processed ephemerally in transit and is never used to train public AI models, nor is it retained for marketing or advertising purposes.

4. Data Retention & User Rights

Because files are placed directly in your Google Drive:

• You retain 100% legal ownership and physical control of all your receipts, photos, and spreadsheets.
• If you discontinue using CheqPix, you keep all your organized records, folders, and Excel files in your Google Drive without paying any recurring fees.
• You can revoke CheqPix's Google Drive access at any time via your Google Account Permissions.

5. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, rent, monetize, or disclose your financial data, documents, or personal information to third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.
